The Grayson County College baseball team used a pair of rallies to sweep New Mexico Junior College in a double-header, 7-3 and 13-9, in non-conference action on Monday.
In the opener Travis Brewster had the go-ahead two-run double during the Vikings’ five-run eighth inning and Kevin Cornelius followed with a two-run homer.
Andy Jones struck out eight in the victory and Luke Moran added a solo homer.
Cornelius had the go-ahead two-run double and Madison Carter followed with a three-run homer in the late innings of Game 2
Brad Adams threw final inning and a third to close out the victory for Grayson (8-4), which plays a double-header at Western Oklahoma on Friday.
