HOWE — Jacob Crowell scored 26 points as Ector defeated Slidell, 70-55, in a Class 1A Division II Region III bi-district game at Howe High School on Tuesday night.
Bradley Bingham added 14 points, P.J. Connally chipped in nine points and Chad Clement and Jimmy Ford finished with five points apiece for Ector (19-10), which plays Waco Meyer in the area round at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Kaufman.
Dodd City 65 Bellevue 46
SADLER — Landon Darwin had 20 points and Jaylen Wallace scored 18 as Dodd City defeated Bellevue in bi-district play at S&S on Tuesday night.
Landon Liebel chipped in 11 points for Dodd City (25-5), which will play Frost on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Rockwall Heath in the area round.
