The Austin College baseball team dropped both halves of its SCAC-opening doubleheader against the University of Dallas on Sunday, falling 15-0 and 14-4.
Austin College was limited to three hits in the opener, getting one apiece from Chase Muder, Tyler Appelquist and John Schulmeister. In the second game, the ‘Roos got on the board when Landon Hendrix drove in Josh Coughennower, and Appelquist drove in two more runs in the fifth and homered to left in the eighth to finish a 4-for-4, two-double, three-RBI performance.
The ‘Roos (1-8) will be looking to rebound on Tuesday when they host LeTourneau at 6 p.m.
