LUELLA — A Christian Fellowship Church begins each Sunday with a coffee and doughnut fellowship at 9 a.m. followed by classes at 9:30 a.m and praise and worship at 10:30 a.m. Dress is casual.

C.R. Men’s Step Study class meets at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. This program helps those struggling with alcohol and drug abuse or family issues. SAVOY — The Savoy church of Christ invites the public to join them at 10 a.m. Sundays for Bible class. The adult auditorium class is studying the book of Leviticus. Morning worship starts at 11 a.m. and the evening service begins at 6 p.m.
In this Sunday’s morning service, they will be studying a lesson entitled “Heaven Will Surely Be Worth It All.” During the evening service, they will begin a new series, “A Study of the Gospel of John.” The purpose of this series is to show the Diety of Christ and how He truly is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Join them for these encouraging lessons.
Mid-week Bible study starts at 7 p.m. Wednesdays. On Tuesdays, a Ladies Bible Class meets at 9:30 and a Men’s Class meets at 7 p.m.

Legacy Bible
SHERMAN — Legacy Bible Church invites everyone to join them this Sunday as they gather for worship. Garner Simpkins, lead pastor, will continue in their study on I Peter.

Legacy Kids, a time of worship, prayer and other activities, is available for children age 2 through 5th grade during the worship service. A nursery is available for infants through 24 months.

Grand Ave. Presbyterian
SHERMAN — Grand Avenue Presbyterian welcomes everyone to worship with them at the 11 a.m. service. Dr. Lander Bethel’s message will be “Going Up and Coming Down” based on Mark 9:2-9. Jane Schulz will be the lesson reader of I Kings 2:1-12 and II Corin. 4:3-6.
The Session will meet with Ron Holloman at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Conference Room.
WYN! will eat a potluck supper at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Minter Hall. The program will be a short Ash Wednesday Service and hearing from Meals on Wheels. The youth will have an activity and study session. The adult Bible study will look at Mark 8:31-38.

Waples UMC
DENISON — The congregation of Waples Memorial United Methodist Church offers an open invitation to come and worship with them at 8:45 and 11 a.m every Sunday. Sunday School classes begin at 10 a.m. A nursery is provided for both services.
This Sunday Rev. Roy Spore’s sermon is entitled “Later” based on Mark 9:2-9. Rev. Spore is currently offering a Partnership Bible Study at 7 p.m. Mondays.
Waples will offer an Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. The doors are open for all who would like to enter. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of a 40-day Christian season of preparation before Easter.
The United Methodist Women will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for the General Meeting. Lunch will be served following the meeting.
The Comfort Quilters will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday to quilt. The group make lap quilts that are then sent to different places throughout the world to provide comfort and warmth. If you or someone you know likes to quilt or would like to learn, come and join in the fun.
