Everyone is invited to celebrate with Baptist Hill Baptist Church in Ben Franklin, Texas as they observe Installation Services for their pastor, Rev. R.D. Daniels and First Family at 3:30 Sunday at the church. Rev. Daniels, a Whitewright native, now lives in Sherman.
Guest speaker and installing ministers will be Rev. Curtis Pruitt of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of Ladonia and Dr. Michael Braxton of Bethel Community Baptist Church of Denison.
Prior to accepting this appointment, Rev. Daniels served as senior pastor in Texas, Oklahoma and Milton, Pa. Daniels was licensed and ordained first by Bishop L.A. Crawford and Elder Henry Wilson at the Church of the Living God in Denison, then licensed and ordained in the Baptist Church under the direction of Bishop L.J. Goodman at the New Hope Baptist Church in Denison.
Rev. Daniels is married to Sonya J. Moore of Denison and has four children, Tevin, Jamal, Jarrell, Jarron and Jarrmez. He is the son of the late George M. Daniels and Vaughn Z. Daniels; sister, Janice Harris of Sachse, Texas; and brothers, Victor of Whitewright and Rev. Charles V. Daniels of Williamsport, Pa.
