The Sherman-Denison Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold a public involvement meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Sherman City Council chambers, 220 West Mulberry, to seek public input on changes to the 2013-2016 Transportation Improvement Program and Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
The MPO board recently approve several improvements that require the plans to be updated. MPO staff and Texas Department of Transportation will be at the meeting to answer questions and receive comments.
Comments can be submitted verbally or in writing up to 10 days after the meeting. Written statements or exhibits may be submitted to the Texas Department of Transportation, Grayson County Area, 3904 U.S. Highway 75 South, Sherman, TX 75090 or or Sherman-Denison MPO, 100 W. Houston, Suite G-2, Sherman, TX 75090, Attn: Robert Wood, Transportation Director. They must be received no later than 10 days after the meeting.
