Richard and Linda Stapp
FORT WORTH — Richard and Linda Stapp of Fort Worth recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. A gathering of family and friends was held at the Quail Springs Ranch Clubhouse.
The Stapps were wed on Feb. 10, 1962.
Linda Stapp was raised in Gainesville and has been a full-time housewife and mother.
Richard Stapp grew up in Denison and attended Denison High School. He was a band director at the high school until 1969, and then worked for General Dynamics for 21 years after moving to Fort Worth.
The Stapps have three children, Richie Stapp, Jeffery Stapp and Penny Garrison. There are four grandchildren.
